Parole board representation
In criminal cases, there are criteria that allow certain qualifying convicted persons the chance to be released on parole. It is important that these convicted persons have trustworthy, adequate legal representation to support their case to aid in parole approval. Keep in mind that for some violent convictions, there are no opportunities for parole.

Post-Conviction Relief (PCR)
Post-conviction relief is a legal remedy for persons who have been convicted and whose cases include numerous errors within the judicial process. With regard to an improper sentence, the lack of jurisdiction to impose a conviction and/ sentence, the discovery of new evidence that was not previously available at trial, or the illegal confinement of a person convicted, there is an opportunity to attack the conviction and/ sentence.
Please keep in mind that PCR work can be a lengthy process. Therefore, we require a minimum fee to review all previous trial materials, including transcripts and the discovery, to determine potential merits of the PCR.
Gun Rights Restoration
Most lawyers will tell you that gun right restoration for convicted felons is nearly impossible in the State of Mississippi. However, Attorney Knott has successfully restored gun rights of previously convicted felons through his proven petitioning method.
